Jack Jarson age 48 of Saginaw formerly of Elkton, died Monday morning, December 21, after a brief illness.
He was born September 4, 1961, in Detroit to late Jack and Joyce (VanHulle) Jarson. He and his family moved to Huron County while in his youth.
Jack enlisted in the US Air Force shortly after graduating from Laker High School in 1980. After his time in the service, he worked as an electrician in residential building in the Saginaw, Bay City Midland and Flint area until recent health issues forced him to retire.
He enjoyed the out of doors and loved to deer hunt and fish with his children. He loved God, accepted Jesus as his Savior, enjoyed reading the bible and discussing it. He also loved his family very much.
Surviving are five children, Mary Beth Jarson and Chris (Katherine) Jarson of Bay City, Brittney Charo , James and Alexandria Jarson all of Beaverton; five grandchildren, Tayden, Sistyne, Isiah, Alasia and Ziah; a special friend, Zinnie Traylor; siblings, Carl (Gail) Jarson and Beth Ann (Gordon) Douglas of California, Tammy (Kelly) Black of Washington, Sharon (Davis) Sikoski of Clinton Twp., Steve (Karen) Jarson of Akron, Lori (Dennis) Peyerk of Elkton, Kim (Dave) Juhas and Teresa (Don) Engelhardt of Midland and Nichole Palmateer of Cass City; a sister-in-law, Beverly Jarson of Hemet, CA and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was a brother, Tom.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton where friends may call after 1:00 PM Sunday. The Very Rev. Elsa Pressentin, Bad Axe will officiate at the funeral home.
