Jacoba P. Batchelor Hoekstra

Jacoba P. "Cobie" Hoekstra age 58, of Elkton died Saturday afternoon, October 30, at her home while under hospice care.
She was born December 11, 1945 in Amsterdam, Netherlands to Jacoba (Hoogernan) Hoekstra and the late Richard Hoekstra.
On December 21, 1983, she was united in marriage to Jack L. Batchelor in Wayne, MI and moved to Elkton in the early nineties.
Cobie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Caseville.
Surviving are her husband, Jack; two children Richard (Tracey) Lamey of Walled Lake and Tammy Lamey of Dearborn; two step-sons, Phillip and Anthony Batchelor of Bedford, IN; her mother, Jacoba Hoekstra of Chatham, Ontario; her grandson Robert and her sister, Merion (Jack) Luke of Bedford, IN.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral services, cremation has taken place under the direction of the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton
