Jacqueline Buerker Leipprandt, age 81 of Quincy, Massachusetts (formerly of Lansing and Pigeon), died June 17, 2007. Born in Bad Axe on July 7, 1925, she was a 1943 graduate from Pigeon High School, and married Leonard W. "Bill" Leipprandt on June 24, 1948. She graduated from Harper Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit.
While living in Lansing, she worked as a nurse for many years. Following retirement, she and Bill lived in Vero Beach, Florida for 23 years, where she was a hospice volunteer and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. The couple enjoyed traveling in their camper/fifth wheel and would usually return to Michigan in the summer to visit friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Leipprandt (Kenneth) Fieldman of Milton, Massachusetts; a grandson, Zachary; and a granddaughter, Anna.
A Memorial Service for Jacqueline Leipprandt will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Meyersieck-Bussema Funeral Home, Pigeon. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon.
