James David Bachor

James David Bachor, age 59 of Caseville, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Saginaw Veteran’s Hospital.

James was born in Detroit on March 30, 1949 to Elma (nee Kangas) and the late Joseph Bachor. He grew up in Southfield before entering the US Army and serving in Vietnam. He moved to Caseville in the early 1990's. He had worked for Trillium Staffing Solutions in Pigeon. He was a member of the Caseville Eagles #3690. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching sports, and he was an avid reader. His marvelous sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother Elma of Caseville; brother William (Yolanda) of Concord, California and sisters Joanne (Ed) Burghardt of Sears, Michigan and Lois Bachor of Caseville; 4 nephews and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. Military honors will be provided by the Caseville American Legion.

Visitation will be 3-8 PM Saturday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville.

Memorials may be made to the Caseville Eagles’ John MacDonald Scholarship Fund.
