James Dunevant

James Dunevant of Lake Wales, Florida, formerly of Caro, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Jim and his wife, Ruby, lived in Caro for many years before moving to Lake Wales, Florida, twenty-eight years ago. Ruby preceded him in death in 2008. Jim came to Caro in 1967 as Plant Manager of Midwest Rotary Maniforms, where he remained for almost twenty years. Jim was an avid bowler, and was bowling shortly before he passed. He was a terrific tournament bowler, and was one of the premier bowlers at Harmony Hill and Brentwood during his early years. He loved fishing and golfing in his younger years, and spending time with his family and his bird, Sammy. Jim is survived by his three children, Stan Dunevant of Lake Wales, Florida, Deb (Ted) Powell, and Carol (Randy) Stephens of Caro; seven grandchildren, Robert (Kay) Fetting, Adam (Kim) Fetting, Scott (Amy) Fetting, Amy (Rajay) Sane, and Chad (Jennifer) Stephens, Stanley Jr. and James Dunevant; five great-grandchildren, Kyle Fetting, Coby Fetting, Lucas and Ashton Fetting, Ashley Dunevant; and three step-great-grandchildren, Morgan, Trevor and Hannah Davis. He was expecting another great-granddaughter in November. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro.
