James J. Fritz

James J. Fritz, age 57, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his home in West Branch.

James was born June 8, 1956 to Lyle and Doris (Holzworth) Fritz in Sebewaing. He was formerly employed at Sebewaing Industries. He was currently employed at Franks Great Outdoors. James was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a car enthusiast and loved racing. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved his two pets, Marley and Brodie.

James is survived by his wife, Amy (Gellise) Fritz of West Branch; children: Samantha (Eric) Hunt of Sebewaing, Alyssa (James) Hutchinson of Sebewaing, Gregg Fritz of Essexville, and step son, Alan Keeler of Commerce; grandchildren: Jade Androl, Danielle & Brooklyn Hunt, Chloe Fritz; step grandchild, Phoenix Keeler; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Doris Fritz; and brother, Dan Fritz.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 11-7pm.

The funeral service will be Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 7pm with Brad Haist officiating.

Cremation will take place after the service.

Memorial donations may be given to the family or the American Heart Association.
