James "Brandy" "Jim" E. Brandenburg

James E. "Brandy" Brandenburg, age 76, of Sebewaing, went to his heavenly home on April 6, 2026.

Brandy was born on December 6, 1949, in Bay City, to Frederick and Audrey (Erb) Brandenburg. He graduated from Sebewaing High School in 1968. He loved farming, which he did all his life. He also enjoyed going on crop tours, visiting with his friends and overseeing his garden.

Brandy is survived by his 3 children: Nathan (Kristyn) Brandenburg, Jamie (Brad) Gettel and Brian (Ashley) Brandenburg; 5 grandchildren: Jae, Adelyn, Elliot, Henry Brandenburg & Lennox Gettel; siblings: Jerry (Gloria) Brandenburg & Pam (Jim) Pryor.

Brandy is preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Audrey, and sister, Cindy Badour.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10, 2026 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Inc., in Sebewaing, from 3pm-8pm.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. A luncheon will follow the service. Pastor Michael Boyer will be officiating along with the assistance of Pastor Charles Kuhl.

Memorial donations may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or any other fund at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
