James Klinkenberger, age 63, passed away on March 19, 2012 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw, following a lingering illness. Jim was born on July 31, 1948 in Pontiac to the late Bernard and Helen (Wells) Klinkenberger. Following graduation from high school James served in the Army in the Republic of Viet Nam. Jims work career was with Fisher Body, General Motors in Pontiac where he worked on the assembly line. He enjoyed fishing. Surviving is his four children, James (Melissa) Klinkenberger of Waterford, Paul (Brandy) Klinkenberger of Goodrich, Dawn (Eric) Haeck of Colorado, and Amy Klinkenberger of Orion; ten grandchildren, Caden, Jordan, Logan, Zechariah, Makala, Keegan, Caleb, Jazmine, Regan, and Gabby; siblings, Jack, Leonard, Bobby, Judy, Vickie, Pam all of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, the Valerie Humes family. There will be no formal services, a family remembrance will be held at a later date. In keeping with James wishes, his body was donated to the University of Michigan.
