James D. Krause of Caro, age 74, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Covenant Health Care - Harrison in Saginaw. Jim was born June 29, 1947 in Bay City, the son of the late John and Lena May (Ross) Krause, Jr. He was united in marriage with the former Deena L. Schweim on September 7, 1974 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Caro. Jim had been employed as a manager at McDonald's and Pompei Pizza Factory, an EMT for Collon Funeral Home, painter, roofer, delivery driver at Sheldon Medical Supply, and a stocker at Walmart. The most important aspect of his life was his love of Jehovah God. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and served as an elder for decades. He loved reading, building model cars, puzzles, and most importantly, spending time with his boys. Jim is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Deena Krause; two sons, Derick Krause and wife, Misty, of Corinna, Maine, and Matthew Krause of Caro; and one granddaughter, Kaitlyn. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Daniel. A Zoom memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Caro.
