James Lee McMall, age 79, of Caseville, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at his home while under hospice care.
Jim was born July 3, 1930 in Saginaw to the late Raymond and Margaritte (Packard) McMall. He married Shirley E. Brethauer of Saginaw on March 31, 1951 in Bridgeport.
In 1991 he retired as a truck driver from Grant-Sysco in Saginaw and moved permanently to Caseville. He was a 30 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a past president of the Kosciuszko Club in Saginaw and a former trustee of the Wolga Club in Saginaw. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and bowling.
Surviving are his wife Shirley; children Tim (Chris) of Oklahoma, Jamie (Michael) Schultz of Saginaw, Joyce (Duane) Wilson of Bridgeport, Michelle (James) Nugent of Saginaw, Mike (Debbie) of Florida, Tom (Kay) of Las Vegas, and Audrey Tuzas of Saginaw; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and a brother William (Joann) of Hemlock.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Audrey Oomen and Shirley Pelkey.
A memorial gathering and luncheon will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 16th at the Caseville Eagles Club #3690, 7017 E. Park St. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements.
