James Joseph Muska of Caro, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 15, 2017. Jim was born April 11, 1936 in Caro, the son of the late Emery James and Gazella (Szaki) Muska, and was a graduate of Caro High School. He retired from Lapeer Regional State Hospital and also worked for Rex Binder Sales as a mechanic. Jim was a member of the Tuscola Area Old Engine and Tractor Association and the International Harvester Collectors Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and attending tractor shows. Jim is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Marylee Muska; his children and their spouses, James, Jr. & Jill Muska of Caro, Richard & Karen Muska of Vassar, Bryan & Sue Muska of Caro, Jeff & Sandi Muska of Clio, Karen Muska-Fraim and Nick Carson of Iowa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gary & Althea Muska of Caro; brother-in-law, Roger Deering of Caro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Deering. In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
