James S. Musser

James S. Musser, 84, of Shelby Twp, formerly of Caseville, died Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Macomb County.

Jim was born March 13, 1935 in Detroit to the late Martin and Laura (Hemmila) Musser.  He graduated from Busch High School in Center Line in 1953.  He was a United States Veteran of the Army.  He married Mary Ann Tranchida on July 12, 1958 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Center Line.  James retired after 37 years in the IBEW 58.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann; children Laura (William) Mahler, Beverly (the late Norm) Moore, Denise Terrell, James (Maria) Musser Jr., and Susan (Robert) Sandoffsky; caring grandfather of 12; cherished great-grandfather of 3.  He was preceded in death by daughter Janet and brother Martin Musser Jr.

Visitation 2-8pm Tuesday, December 10th at Ford Funeral Home, 26560 VanDyke (South of 11 Mile Road or the I-696 expressway), Center Line, Michigan.

Funeral Mass 10:00am Wednesday, December 11th at St Therese of Lisieux, 48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp., MI 48315, with Msgr. John Kasza presiding.

There will be a visitation on Thursday from 11:00am to Noon at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon, followed by burial at 12:30 in Saint Roch Cemetery, Caseville.
