James Putnam

James D. Putnam, age 69, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at his home, following a lingering illness. He was born February 23, 1938 in Caro, the son of the late Stanley A. & Olive Mary (Kelley) Putnam, Sr. He was a member of the Holiness Gospel Mission Church in Greenville. Jim is survived by three brothers, one sister and their spouses, Cecil & Pauline Putnam of Deford, Jack & Sue Putnam of Dryden, Daniel Putnam of Swartz Creek and Delores Coffeen of Grayling; many stepchildren and grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish his memory. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Manard) Putnam in October of 1997; two brothers and one sister, Stanley A. Putnam, Jr. in 1988, Robert J. Putnam in 1994 and Shirley Smith in 1996.
