James Read

James Trampas Read, age 36, of Lincoln Park, formerly of South Rockwood, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born as an identical twin to Travis Earl Read on September 18, 1973 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri to James Earl and Beverly Jo (Myers) Read. The Reads moved to South Rockwood when the twins were young and Trampas attended and graduated from Jefferson High School in Monroe. He attended ITT for one year, and after a stint in the National Guard, he went to work as a millwright out of Millwright Union Local 1102. He enjoyed reading, his friends, and the Local. He is survived by his parents, James and Beverly Read of Caro; his twin brother, Travis Read of Caro; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Grady Jackson. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Garland Draper, Caro Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be at East Dayton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Trampas Read family discretionary fund, c/o James Read, 302 S.
