James Clarence Sauer

James Clarence Sauer, 87, of Pigeon, died Monday, November 16, 2020 at his home.

James was born March 20, 1933 in Saginaw to the late Herman and Edna (Alles) Sauer. He graduated from Saginaw Arthur Hill High School in 1952. He married Margaret Baum on May 18, 1957 in Frankenmuth. James was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.

James is survived by his sons Timothy (Anita) of Roseboro, NC and David (Susan) of Bad Axe; grandchildren Amanda of Maine, Nicole (Sean) Gray of Plymouth and Bradley of Bad Axe and brothers Gene and Richard. He was preceded in death by his brother Don.

A private family memorial service will be 11:00am Friday, November 20th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville with Rev. Chris Suggitt officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at church from 10:00am to 11:00am Friday.
