James "Jim" C. Winter "Cashback", age 76, of Sebewaing, passed away at his home, May 26, 2015.
Jim was born on the Winter Centennial Farm on November 29, 1938, to the late Oscar and Meta (Bauer) Winter. The family left Sebewaing in 1944 and migrated to Texas and then to Arkansas in 1956. He loved drinking coffee and made his regular rounds many mornings for coffee and friendly chats. He also checked on many local "shut-ins". He would like to be remembered as a wildlife artist.
He is survived by many friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Meta Winter; and brother, Oscar Winter, Jr.
