Jane Babcock

Jane L. Babcock of Caro, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Covenant Health Care - Harrison in Saginaw. Jane was born January 11,1939 in Caro, the daughter of the late Vernon and Madge (Emery) Hack. On August 17, 1957, Jane Hack and George Babcock were united in marriage at Caro First Baptist Church. Jane, a homemaker at heart, enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren, fishing, camping and the holidays. Although all holidays were important, Christmas was her favorite and included a second favorite activity, shopping, that allowed her to share her excitement with others. Jane is survived by her loving husband of sixty-two years, George "Sonny" Babcock; four children and their spouses, Susan & Wayne Sayers, Timothy Babcock, Laura & Loren Ames, Randy & Lisa Babcock all of Caro; eleven grandchildren, Sondra, Katie, Bobby, Joyce, Ruth, Clarissa, Joseph, Nate, Garrett, Corey and Ethan; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters and their spouses, Marie & Gary Hazen, Maxine Krabbe, RuthAnn Babcock; and many nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Donald, James "Pete", Paul and infant brother, Billy Hack; and a brother-in-law, Jim Babcock. In keeping with Jane's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
