Jane Yanke

Cora "Jane" Yanke, age 91, of Sebewaing, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro.

Jane was born December 27, 1924, to the late Elmer and Martha (Wildner) Daniels. She married Harry Yanke on May 15, 1943, at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, spending time with her grandchildren, and visiting Black Lake.

Jane is survived by her son, Craig (Lori) Yanke of Sebewaing; grandchildren: Chris (Randy) Nitz, Barb (Joe) Crowder, Tyler Yanke (fiancé Chyanne Thomas) and Brandie Yanke; great grandchildren: Ashley (Jarod) Bills, Zachary Nitz, McKenzie Crowder and Skylynn Crowder; great great granddaughter, Brooklyn Bills; sister, Helen Schulz; brother, James Daniels; and many nieces and nephews.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Yanke; daughter, Karen Long; great grandson, Bradley Nitz; brothers, Bob and Art Daniels; and sister, Esther Fritz.

Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, from 2-8pm.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place privately after the service at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the family, Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
