Janet Mary Banda

Janet Mary Banda, 76, of Caseville, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Janet was born March 24, 1946 in Detroit to the late Wilbert and Albina (Gwisdalla) Pawlowski. She grew up in Ferndale and graduated from St. James High School. She moved from Warren to Caseville in 1980. She retired from the Bad Axe Kmart. Janet was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. She loved animals, Halloween, making ceramics and spending time with her family and friends.

Janet is survived by her siblings Sharon (Dave) Comerford of Waterford, Linda Hemphill of Waterford, Joan (Don) Zalewski of Caseville and Bert Pawlowski of Oak Park; 10 nieces and nephews, 19 great-nieces and nephews and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Attillo, brother Gary Pawlowski, and sister Diane Doll.

A funeral mass will be 11:00am Thursday, December 1st at St. Roch Catholic Church. Burial will be the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 Wednesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel.
