Janet G. Dutcher

Janet G. Dutcher, age 79, of Sebewaing, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, under the care of A & D Hospice, with her family by her side.

Janet was born in Bay City on March 24, 1942, to Leland and Janet (Joy) Gallow. After graduating from high school, she married Charles W. Dutcher on November 11, 1961, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Janet worked at the clothing stores in Sebewaing for many years, enjoyed shopping, garage saleing, gardening in her flower beds, sewing, working crafts, doing house projects, fishing with Chuck and was a life-long member at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. She had a heart of gold and she always put everyone before herself. She was strong willed, an over achiever and lived each day by faith and love. She loved spending time with her family, but most of all with her two granddaughters who were her everything.

Janet is survived by her husband, Chuck; son, David (Kim) Dutcher of Sebewaing' granddaughters: Cassaundra (fiancé Dane Southgate) Dutcher and Charristen (Justin) Goslin; great grandchildren: Laiken Goslin and River Southgate; siblings: Lynn (Charles) Blake and Robert Gallow; and nieces and nephews.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Patrick Gallow.

A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorial may be given to the Radio Mission fund at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
