Janet Force

Janet Lillian Force of Caro, age 90, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her home. Janet was born February 27, 1930 in Blumfield Township, the daughter of the late Homer and Emma (Harms) Swarthout. She graduated from Central Michigan University with her teaching certificate and went on to attend Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. Janet started teaching art and special education to second and sixth grade students in 1985, retiring after fourteen years. She was very artistic and had a true love and talent for art. Janet loved her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are three children, Mark Force, Kimberly Force, Brian Force and wife, Jenny; three grandchildren, Hannah, Ashley and Timothy Thibodeaux; and four great-grandchildren, Colton, Aidan, Adalynn and Bailee. In keeping with Janet's wishes, cremation has taken. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
