Janet M. (Leitch) Adkins

Janet M. Adkins, age 50, of Redford died Sunday morning, February 12, in her sleep at her home following a suspected acute heart attack.
She was born August 6, 1955, at Hubbard Hospital in Bad Axe to Norman Leitch and the late Dorothy (Morgan) Leitch. Janet grew up in Redford and lived there all her life.
On February 25, 1983, she was united in marriage to Ronald Adkins in Redford.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald; two sons, Bradley and Derek at home; her dad, Norman Leitch of Pinnebog; two sisters, Nancy (Jim) Crockrell of South Lyon and Sharon (Mark) Otley of New Hudson; her brother, Denis (Barbara) Leitch of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, February 16, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton. Rev. David Freeland, pastor of the Pinnebog United Methodist Church will officiate with burial in Colfax Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 PM Wednesday and after 10 AM Thursday.
