Janice L. Germain

Janice L. Germain of Akron, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Janice was born June 16, 1934 in Akron, the daughter of the late Merritt and Mabel (Achenbach) Hickey. She was united in marriage with Larry Germain on August 22, 1953 and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1979. She was employed at the Caro Regional Center for many years in the housekeeping/laundry departments. Janice enjoyed bingo and euchre and loved to shop. Janice is survived by one daughter, Diane Prusi and her husband, Wally; one son, Doug Germain; two granddaughters, Melissa Prusi and Kimberlee Lewis; one grandson, Jake Germain; two great-grandchildren, Larkin and Connor Neering; and one sister, Joyce Wark and her husband, Bill. Private funeral services will be held with burial at Demorest Cemetery in Akron.
