Janice Louise Wilson

Janice Louise Wilson of Caro, age 81, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at her home in Caro. Janice was born December 22, 1942, in Caro, the daughter of the late John and Kathryn Weidman. Janice attended Caro High School and graduated with the class of 1960. After high school, she embarked on several adventures to numerous destinations, including Russia. On June 7, 2003, Janice married David Wilson at Caro First Baptist Church and the couple cherished over two decades of marriage together. She dedicated several years of her life to working as a nurse's aide at the Caro Regional Center until her retirement in 1998. Janice had a zest for life that was evident in her love for animals, her fondness for brightly colored clothes and shoes, and her passion for dining out. Among her favorite cuisines were Polish and Greek, which she enjoyed exploring at various restaurants. Janice will be remembered for her kindness, her adventurous spirit, and her ability to bring joy to those around her.

Janice is survived by her loving husband of twenty years, David Wilson of Caro; three step-sons, Ben Wilson of Akron, Mike (Heidi) Wilson of Caro, and Matthew Wilson of Caro; and four step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Caro First Baptist Church in Caro with Pastor Marc Herron officiating. Janice’s family will be present to receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Cass River Pet Friendz.
