Janis Elizabeth Forge

Janis E. (Magill) Forge, passed away peacefully, after a sudden illness on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the age of 85. She is survived by her brother, William E. Magill, and three children, William C. (Janet) Forge II, Jeannine M. (Ted) Batterson, Bethany A. (Richard) Sprunk, thirteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Forge and her parents.

Jan was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. After she graduated from high school she received a degree as a Registered Nurse. She proudly served as an RN at a number of different hospitals throughout lower Michigan, finally retiring from the profession after nearly fifty years of service.

Her life was centered around her family of whom she was so proud and was terribly saddened by the loss of her husband after 60 years of marriage as well as her youngest daughter (Kimberley A. Hurst).

A memorial service celebrating Jan's life will take place sometime in the summer (TBD) in Bay Port, Michigan.
