Jann Lutz

Jann K. Lutz, age 64, of Caro went to the Lord on wings of angels on Monday, May 30, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 17, 1946 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Harold and Agnes (Vincent) Maxson. Jann had a vibrant spirit and loved life. She held her family close to her heart, had many friends, and never met a stranger. Jann enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, and never found a task she could not accomplish. In her later years, she enjoyed writing the newspaper for the Senior Commons. Jann is survived by her daughters, Cristi (Scott) Smith of Caro, and Joni (Robert) Green of Alger; three grandchildren, Malachi and Notoria Green and Fischer Smith. According to Janns wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, June 4 2011 at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk officiating. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Lutz family discretionary fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Collon Funeral Home, 302 S. State St., Caro, MI 48723.
