Jarold G. Sloboda

Jarold G. Sloboda, age 95, of Saginaw, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at My Michigan Medical Center in Saginaw.

Jarold was born in Saginaw on October 14, 1930, to George and Frances (Wenzel) Sloboda. He worked as an eyeglass maker for many optical companies throughout his life. He enjoyed watching sports, especially MSU. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.

Jarold is survived by his children: Randy (Kathy) Sloboda, Brian (Lynne) Sloboda, Debra (Chuck) Moreau, Ken (Amy) Sloboda, Rick French and Kathy Hoelscher; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and just recently a great great grandchild.

Jarold is preceded in death by his parents; his children: Jerry (Paula) Sloboda and Kim Sloboda.

Per Jarold's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be planned in the spring. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
