Jason Proper

Jason Proper of Akron, age 37, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jason was born July 31, 1981 in Cass City, the son of Mike Eremia and Mary Clark. He attended Akron-Fairgrove High School and later studied computer science at Baker College in Cass City. Jason was a handyman by trade and could fix virtually anything. Extremely intelligent and naturally curious, Jason had a knack for computers. He was a member of the Pariahs Motorcycle Club and will be remembered for his free spirit and zest for life. Jason is survived by his daughter, Alexis Schulz of Bay City; parents, Mary Clark of Fairgrove and Mike Eremia and his significant other, Mary, of Unionville; six siblings and their spouses, Scott & Kelly Clark of Gilford, Randy Clark of Akron, Jamie "James" Clark of Fairgrove, Missy & Mark Linzner of Sebewaing, Greg & Joanne Eremia of Unionville, Stacey Gemmell and her fianc, Frank, of Unionville; and his maternal grandmother, Margie Proper of Akron. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rocky Clark; and maternal grandfather, John Proper, Sr. The family will be present to receive friends and share stories at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will also gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. for a funeral procession to Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove where Jason will be laid to rest.
