Jason Young

Jason "Jay" A. Young, age 31, of Lake Twp. died Saturday morning, in Hastings, MN.

He was born April 27, 1979 in Cass City to Leonard Young and the late Isabel (Aguilera) Young Besaw. She preceded him in death July 14, 2009. Jay grew up in the Elkton-Pigeon area and was a 1998 graduate of Laker High School.
Jay had been employed with Sport Surface Specialties base out of Buffalo, NY for the past 3 years. He was currently working on a job in Minneapolis, MN.
Jason was a fun loving guy who was always there for his friends to lean on. He enjoyed hunting spear fishing, boxing and basketball. He especially enjoyed being with his daughter and fiancée.
Surviving are his fiancée', Melisa Raymond of Lake Twp; his daughter, Lupita at home; his father, Leonard Young of Ubly; siblings, Imagene (Jay) Morell of Chesaning, Leonard (Amber) Young of Caseville and Sylinda (Matt) Bruce of Clinton Twp. and seven nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, October 8, at the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton. Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 9 PM Thursday and at the church Friday after 11:00 AM.
