Jay Mark Bilkie

Jay Mark Bilkie, 68, of Caseville, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at McLaren Thumb Region Hospital in Bad Axe.

Jay was born March 20, 1950 in Garden City to the late Robert Sr. and Sophie (Jacobs) Bilkie.  He graduated from Garden City High School in 1968.  He moved from Garden City to Caseville in 1977 and owned a boat repair business called Mobil Marine Repair.  He was a member of the Caseville Eagles Club.  He enjoyed boating on his “Sugar Bare,” fishing and hunting.  Most of all, he loved his granddaughters.

He is survived by his children Lisa (Larry) Elliott and Mike (Sherry) Bilkie both of Caseville; the mother of his children Teri Bilkie of Caseville; granddaughters Tayler, Emma, Kylie and Macey; brothers Raymond (Cathy) of Arizona, Robert Jr (Shari) of Northville and sister Roberta (Kenneth) Stamper of Livonia.

A memorial service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, June 5 ^th at the Caseville Eagles Club.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.  Memorials may be made to the family.
