Jean Gaudett

Jean Marie Gaudett, age 85, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. She was born on October 24, 1925 in Flint to the late Adrian and Ila May (Bowers) Towns. The former Jean Towns married Frank Gaudett on March 5, 1949. He preceded her in death in 2000. She was a homemaker and mother. Jean was a member of the Catholic faith and had most recently attended services at the Caro Senior Commons. She was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge, and enjoyed playing bingo and socializing. She is survived by two sons, Don (Pattie) Gaudett of Vassar, and Stuart Gaudett, four grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Harold. Following cremation, burial will be at Fort Custer Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan at a later date. There will be no visitation or service at the Collon Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
