Jean Marie Gransden

Jean M. Gransden, 81, of Pigeon, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Medilodge of Cass City.

Jean was born August 28, 1941 in Pigeon to the late Wilbur and Irene (Lucht) Errer. She enjoyed baking and making homemade gifts to give to others.  She enjoyed connecting with people by talking on the phone, playing games and attending family reunions.  She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church-Linkville.  She worked at the Pigeon Ben Franklin, Polewach’s, Bearied Treasures and cleaned homes for people who were like family to her.

Jean is survived by her brothers Leon (Laurel) Errer of Ypsilanti and Raymond (Diane) Errer of Elkton; step-daughter Lisa (Dave) Vipperman; many nieces and nephews who she loved like her own children.  She was preceded in death by husband Ronald, brothers Ken Errer and Ronnie Errer, sister Donna Eisinger, step-daughters Joy Kinsey and Vicki Cozzens, granddaughter Jennifer Nietiedt and great-nephew Logan Bolzman.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Tuesday, June 20th at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Linkville with Rev. Chris Suggit officiating.  Interment will be in Grand Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
