Jean Grim

Jean Grim went to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 31, 2005, at Hills & Dales General Hospital in Cass City, following a long illness. She was born on December 12, 1916, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Thomas and Caroline (Cummings) Graham. Jean married Joseph Neumann and he preceded her in death. She then married Earl Grim and he also preceded her in death. She was a member of Grace Refuge Church in Detroit and Living Word Worship Church of God in Cass City. She and her husband owned and operated Grims Drive-In Restaurant at M-53 and M-81 near Cass City until their retirement. Jean was a member of the Handmaidens. She was a Reverend and worked at TBN-TV Christian TV show. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and James Dolecki of San Diego, California; a daughter-in-law, Gerda Neumann of Caro; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, June Graham, of Snover; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and both of her husbands, she was also preceded in death by her son, Joel Neumann; two grandchildren, Steve Dolecki and Roger Neumann; and six of her siblings, Allen Graham, Adelbert Graham, Willard Graham, Ethel Christner, Earl Graham and Robert Graham. The funeral service will be held: AT: Collon Funeral Home in Caro ON: Saturday, September 3, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. WITH: Pastor Keith Misany of the Living Word Church of God in Cass City Burial will be: AT: Elkland Township Cemetery Visitation will be: AT: Collon Funeral Home in Caro ON: Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. AND: Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Jean Grim family discretionary fund c/o Carol Dolecki.
