Jean Delores Guster

Jean Delores Guster, age 79, a lifelong Caseville resident, died Friday, November 20, 2009 at Bay Regional Medical Center.

Jean was born March 4, 1930 in Caseville to the late Wallace and Alice (Kelly) O’Connor. She graduated from Pigeon High School in 1948. On October 1, 1949 she married John Peter Guster at St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville. John preceded her in death on January 28, 2004.

Jean enjoyed cooking and baking, watching movies and her soaps, plants, being outdoors and spending time with her family. She had an adventurous spirit and a big heart in a small body.

Surviving are his daughters Linda (Raoul) Rhoades of Bad Axe and Julie (Jim) Langley of Caseville and son Mark (Paula) Guster of Caseville; grandchildren Brenda Swartzendruber, Shannon Dropiewski, Greg, Bruce and Jerry Langley, James, Ryan and Taylor Guster and Janelle Wiederhold; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; and her brother Darrel (Guyneth “Butch”) Conners of Caseville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Wallace “Skip” Conners.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 23rd at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
