Jeanette Ann Mckay

Jeanette Ann McKay, age 69, of Unionville, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She was born February 19, 1945 to the late Harold and Gertrude (Kramer) Hoppe.

On October 16, 1965 she married Wayne McKay at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Unionville. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her lawn, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Wayne McKay; children: Angela (Greg) Konigsbauer, Steven (Daria) McKay and Kristi (Michael) Kusek; grandchildren: Jack, Charlotte, Zenon, Sonya and Leo; Siblings: Clifford Hoppe, Lorna (Mike) McCormick, Delores (Ken) Gangler, Carol (Bruce) Schneider and Michael (Peggy) Hoppe; mother-in-law, Arline McKay; brother-in-law, Terry McKay; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-8pm

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Moravian Church in Unionville at 12:30pm.

Memorial donations may be given to Henry Ford Transplant Institute or the ACW Ambulance.
