Jeanne McQueen, age 59 years, of Mona Road, Caro, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Caro Community Hospital. She was born on April 14, 1949 in Los Angeles, California. The former Jeanne (London) Browning married Bruce McQueen on October 22, 1994 in Kingston, and he survives her. Jeanne graduated from high school in Norwalk, California. She summered in Port Huron and upon graduation she moved to Port Huron prior to moving to the Kingston area. She was employed at General Cable until marrying Bruce and they moved to Wisconsin and returned in 2003. She loved reading and making cards as well as watching wildlife and birds. She was a past member of the Thumb Area CB Club. In addition to her husband, Bruce, she is survived by three children, Sandra (Ken) Nicol of Caro, Roy Browning and Daniel (Kadee) Browning, all of Caro; nine grandchildren; her mother, Irene Routen of Port Huron; her siblings, David (Linda) London of Missouri, Janet (Jerry) Paeth of Port Huron, Joyce (Bill) Wright of Port Huron, Carolyn Walker of Port Huron, Norma London of California and Darlene (Paul) Damrow of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Floyd London; and her remaining siblings, James London, Gary London and Bonnie June Lowe. In keeping with Jeannes wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service at the Collon Funeral Home. There will be a memorial dinner to celebrate Jeannes life at the home of her daughter, Sandra, on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jeanne McQueen family discretionary fund, c/o Bruce McQueen.
