Jeffery L. Kaechele

Jeffery L. Kaechele age 59, of Pinnebog died Friday morning, June 24, at his home of multiple health problems.

He was born June 19, 1952 in Pontiac to the late Lyle and Leota (Schebergen) Kaechele. Jeff graduated from Avondale High School in 1970 and joined the U. S. Marines in 1972. After his discharge from active duty, he worked as maintence engineer for a motel chain until he was forced to retire for health reasons.
Jeff was a very generous man and enjoyed woodworking, pottery, making signs and working in his home and yard. He was a member of the Caseville Eagles and the Port American Legion.

He is survived by his brother, Merrill (Mary) Rodman of linden; two nieces; a nephew and several grand nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was a son, Travis.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, July 2, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. Rev. David Freeland, pastor of the Pinnebog United Methodist Church will officiate with military honors by the Port Austin and Caseville American Legion Posts.

A Fraternal Order of Eagles Ritual will be conducted Friday at the funeral home where friends may call from 2 to 7 PM Friday.
