Jeffery Herman Trost

Jeffery H. Trost, 41, of Pigeon, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, January 18, 2025 in Shepherd, Michigan.

Jeff was born April 3, 1983 in Pigeon to Henry and Barbara (Kunisch) Trost.  He graduated in 2001 from Laker High School.  Jeff enjoyed bowling, basketball, softball and BINGO.  He worked at the Pigeon IGA and Caseville Family Market since 2006.  He participated in Michigan Special Olympics.  He was a member of Cross Lutheran Church.

Jeff is survived by his parents Henry and Barbara Trost of Pigeon; brothers James (Elizabeth) of Big Rapids and John (Lisa Page) of Bad Axe; nieces and nephews Dee, Corey, Andrew and Savannah.  He was preceded in death by his aunt Nancy Mellendorf and cousin Paul Mellendorf.

A memorial service will be 1:00pm Friday, January 24th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am Friday and continue until the time of the service.
