Jeffrey John Kroll

Jeffrey John Kroll, age 66, of Sebewaing, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Bay City on February 7, 1955 to John and Joan (Early) Kroll. On August 21, 1976 he wed Lois Kundinger at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Together they became the proud parents of two children.

Jeff was an avid part of the local community. He was the owner and operator of Kundinger and Kroll, Inc. in Sebewaing for 41 years. Jeff was an active member of New Salem Lutheran Church and served on the board of education, church council, and as treasurer for many years. He proudly served on the Sebewaing Fire Department for 28 years, most of them as chief. Jeff also served many years on the Sebewaing Ambulance. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, in addition to a lifetime member of the Sebewaing Sportsmen's Club.

Jeff will forever be remembered by his wife of 44 years, Lois Kroll; daughter, Stephanie (Matthew) Welch; son, Jonathon (Randi) Kroll; 5 grandchildren: JoAn, Hanna and William Welch, Anna and Wesley Kroll; sisters: Susan (Michael) Mahoney, Sherry Dutcher, and Leslie (James) Fox; and many more extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

The funeral service will be Thursday, July 29, 2021 at New Salem Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Pastor William Mayhew will be officiating.

He will be laid to rest near his parents at Northlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make contributions in his memory are asked to consider donating to New Salem Lutheran Church, Sebewaing Township Fire Department or the Sebewaing Township Ambulance.
