Jeffrey Dale Schlabach

Jeffrey D. Schlabach, 71, of Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Jeff was born May 6, 1949 in Harbor Beach to the late Clyde and Elizabeth (Coulston) Schlabach. He graduated from Laker High School in 1967 and served in the US Army, stationed in Germany. He retired from Shetler Plumbing and Heating in Pigeon. He enjoyed working in his shed and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jeff is survived by his children Joell of Harbor Beach, Joscelyne (Chad Dubs) of Bad Axe and Trent (Erica Crueger) of Bad Axe; grandchildren Kendal, Tyler, Shyanne, Calie, Kirsten and Brendan; great-grandchildren Aria, Zayden and Elliotte; the mother of his children Cindy Sturgis of Bad Axe; and his siblings PJ Bach of Florida, RJ Schlabach of Florida, Randy (Judy) Schlabach of Saginaw, Mary (Jim) Popham of Bad Axe, Liz (Redford) Maust of Indiana, Brent Schlabach of Pigeon and Robert Schlabach of New Mexico.

Private funeral services are being held. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
