Jennifer Martin

Jennifer K. Martin, age 44 years, of Caro, formerly of Royal Oak, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw following a lingering illness. She was born on July 7, 1962 in Royal Oak to the late William and Kathryn (Bailey) Martin. She was a lifelong resident of Royal Oak until she moved to Caro in 2002 to be closer to her family. Jennifer received her certificate of completion from the Lamphere Center in Madison Heights. She also attended Jewish Vocational Services. Jennifer loved animals, her dog, Tootie, and cat, Kayla. She loved coloring, puzzles, the lotto, power rangers and working for Pizza Hut in Royal Oak. She will be missed dearly by her family, especially by her best friend and brother, Vernon. Jennifer was a member of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her siblings, Vernon H. Martin of Caro, Ronald W. (Elaine) Martin of Caro, Curtis A. (Jean) Martin of Merritt and Patricia (Raymond) Tatonetti of Lake City; one aunt, Ruth James of Royal Oak; one great-aunt, Helen Mendel of Wheeling, West Virginia; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank a very special niece and nephew, Stacy Martin and Jason (Michelle) Martin, all of Caro, for their love and continued care. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. A private graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. There will be no visitation at the Collon Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Jewish Vocational Society of Southfield.
