Jenny Vargo

Jenny Jane Vargo, age 71, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. She was born on April 1, 1940 in Bay City, the daughter of the late Gerald and Ethel (Skinner) Spencer. Jenny was a high school graduate and spent much of her working life as a mother and working in small automotive outsourcing plants in Deckerville and Snover. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making both pillows and blankets. For social activities, Jenny enjoyed spending quality time with family and playing Bingo. Jenny is survived by her three daughters, Donna (Dwain) Proper of Akron, Sherry Jackson of Mount Pleasant, and Rebecca Jackson of Caro; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother and his wife, Joe Carolyn Spencer of Vassar; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Glenna Spencer of Hillman, Sharon Spencer of Caro, Diane Spencer of Caro, Margaret Spencer of Bay City and Richard Knight of Kingston; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter, Ronald James, Arnold James and Penny Jane Jackson; five sisters, Delilah Little, Rosemary Mills, Pearl Spencer, Evelyn Haley and Judy Knight; six brothers, Ernest, Gerald, James, Richard, and Edward Spencer and Charles Skinner; one sister-in-law, Juanita Spencer.
