Jerome R. Koss

Jerome R. Koss, 84, of Caseville, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Jerome was born January 22, 1939, in Detroit to the late August and Helen (Konkel) Koss. He married
Emilia "Emily" Grabowski on April 18, 1964, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Detroit. Jerome moved to
Caseville after a 30-year career at General Motors.  He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish,
Caseville Knights of Columbus, Caseville American Legion and the Caseville Chapter of the Fraternal
Order Eagles #3690. He enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and enjoyed watching all sports. In his younger
days he was an avid baseball coach, leading teams for each of his sons to win league championships.

He is survived by his wife Emily; sons Stanley (Stan) of Chicago and Steve of Davisburg; grandchildren
Dylan and Madison; sisters Diane Gonska and Loretta DiBlasi; sister-in-law Barbara Sosnowski; and
nieces Ann Marie Romstad, Paula (Tim) Datsko, Jennifer (Vic) Andrzejczak and Jaclyn Sosnowski. He was
preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Matthew.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am Monday, April 3rd at St. Roch Catholic Church in Caseville. Visitation will
be Noon-6:00pm Sunday at Champagne Funeral Chapel.

Memorials may be made to St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville Knights of Columbus or Caseville American Legion.
