Jerry Lincoln Fox

Jerry L. Fox , age 86, of Akron, passed away August 5, 2022 at Brian's House in Essexville.

Jerry was born in Unionville on January 22, 1936, to Charles and Maxine (Horst) Fox. He graduated from Akron High School in 1954. After high school he worked for C & C Railroad laying track and doing maintenance. On June 1, 1957 he married Shirley Southgate at the Akron United Methodist Church. He then worked for Sohigro Fertilizer and also helped his dad farm. After retiring from Sohigro, his dad passed away and he fully took over the family farm and grew cash crops, retiring a few years ago. He enjoyed camping, traveling, farming, hunting, trout fishing, gardening, mowing his lawn and watching Nascar and football.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Shirley; children: Debra (Peter Gibbons) Fox of Bellvue, ID, Sandy (Todd) Clement of Vassar, MI and Kristy (John) Hill of Brimley, MI; 3 grandchildren: Addison, Emery and Jonathan Hill.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
