Jerry "Stosh" Stoick

Jerry "Stosh" Stoick of Caro, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Caro Community Hospital. He was born September 8, 1948 in Caro, the son of the late Mike and Mary Kathern (Kleskey) Stoick. Jerry was united in marriage with the former Gloria "Sue" Traster on May 15, 1972 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. He had been employed with the Village of Caro and Whalen Trucking. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. In addition to his wife, Sue, he is survived by two children, Carrie Ann & Ronald Foster of Caro, Jerry Mitchell Stoick of Chicago, Illinois; eight grandchildren, AnDrew and his wife, Shona, Brandin, Jeremyah, Nathanyel, Dakoda, McKenzie, Lucus and Ian; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Serenity; one sister and one brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Mark Anthony Stoick. In keeping with Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
