Jessie Keller

Jessie Mae Keller, age 91, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Amazing Love Adult Foster Care (AFC) Home in Caro. She was born on September 7, 1917 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Chauncy and Jenny (Barcome) Higby. She had been employed as a secretary for Wicks Corporation. Jessie loved her family, animals, flowers, her friends at Juniata Baptist Church, and chocolate. She also loved her caregivers from Hospice and at Cozy Cove and Amazing Love Adult Foster Care (AFC) Homes. She is survived by her children, Clyde Jerry (Minda) Field, Beverly (Patrick) McIntyre and Elsa Lawler; an ex-daughter-in-law, Dortha (Duane) Loomis; her grandchildren, Susan (Gordon) Collet, Clyde Jay (Vickie) Field, Gary (Sandi) McIntyre, Bethney (Stephen) Bernheisel, Karen (Jeff) Romain and Kathy (Robert) Imker; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Eugene Field and Ward Keller; and one granddaughter, Jennifer McIntyre. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. with Mr. Clyde Jay Field officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Vassar.
