Joan Katherine Stalter

Joan K. Stalter, 76, of Burlington, Colorado passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.

Joan was born April 17, 1947 in Longmont, Colorado to the late Alfred and Margaret Erker.  She married Gale "Zeb" Stalter of Bay Port on August 16, 1989.  They lived in Bay Port for eight years during which she worked at Michigan Directory.  In 1998 they moved to Colorado.  She worked at Dynamic Dimensions in Burlington.  She enjoyed painting and time spent with family, friends, and her dog Bella.

Joan is survived by her husband Zeb; son Warren (Shannon) Woerner of Burlington, CO; step-grandchildren Ayden and Heather; siblings Gary (Ellie) Erker, Shirley Bruckner, Diane (Richard) Coy, and Carol Holt.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Harlan Erker and Gene Erker and sister Nancy Boden.

Private funeral services will take place at a later date.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
