Joanne C. Benedetti

Joanne C. Benedetti, age 82, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Courtney Manor Nursing Home in Bad Axe. She was born December 17, 1930 to the late Waverly and Olivia (Hepner) Burton. On September 1, 1951 she married Alfred R. Benedetti spending 54 years together. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2006. She resided in Troy, the Sebewaing area, and also Fish Point for the last 25+ years. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, feeding birds, gardening, farming as a child, traveling and cooking.

Joanne is survived by her two sons: Phil (Denise) Benedetti of Grosse Pointe Farms, and Allan Benedetti of Unionville; her brother Ron (Marie) Burton; and grandchildren: Alyssa and Carmen Benedetti and Sarah and Emily Benedetti.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-4pm.

The service will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home at 4pm with Pastor David Snyder officiating.

Burial will take place following the service at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in the Bach/Sebewaing area.

Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
