Jody Darling

Jody Darling of Bay City, age 66, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at her home. Jody was born July 6, 1956 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Gann) Darling. She was an employee and union representative at Saginaw Steering Gear for thirty years, retiring in 2010. Jody loved cooking, baking, reading, crossword puzzles, and was a huge John Wayne fan. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. Jody is survived by two sisters, April Duggan and her husband, David, of Warren, and Patrese Hickey of Caro; three nephews and one niece; one great-nephew and six great-nieces; and one great-great-niece. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Trent Darling; and one sister, Tammy Darling. In keeping with Jody's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Juniata Township Cemetery at a later date.
