John J. Boadway

John J. Boadway of Caro, age 54, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at McLaren - Bay Region in Bay City. John was born July 27, 1967, the son of the late Irving J. and Joanne Boadway. John graduated from high school and went on to work at Rei Korten and Hyponex as a heavy equipment operator. He also worked at several gravel pits, delivered wholesale meats for Erla's, drove for Thumbody, and worked at Clark gas station. On May 20, 2000, John was united in marriage with the former Kristin Vollmers. Throughout life, John loved to bowl and was a member of a bowling league at Brentwood. Above all, Johns passion was his family, they were the lights of his life. He loved to help them work on their vehicles and absolutely idolized his grandson, Tyler. John would pitch in wherever needed, helping with respite care and never met a stranger. He was “Dad” to many. John will be missed dearly for years to come. John is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Kristin; children, Montana Vollmers of Caro, Paula Boadway (Dan Ford) of Caro, and James Boadway (fianc, Shelby Holmes) of Caro; grandson, Tyler Parrish of Caro; one sister, Jeanette Clark of Port Huron; one brother, James Boadway, Sr. of Port Huron; sisters-in-law, Lisa Boadway of Port Huron, Kimberly McGee of Lapeer, and Kassandra (Keith) Simmons of Caro; mother-in-law, Denise Sherwin (fianc, Dale Harmon), along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one brother, Jeff Boadway. Funeral services will be held at Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Michele Hile officiating.
